Erin & Rob December 4, 2010

Congrats to Erin & Rob who celebrated their marriage earlier this month! Erin is a good friend of mine so I was a guest. Our videographer Joe Kelly shot the event and did a great job.

The event was held at Valley Forge Military Academy. It’s a great venue with a very pretty chapel and a reception hall nearby. If your looking for a venue where you can have a big church wedding but still be within walking distance of your reception this is the spot for you. Erin decided to have the reception hall professionally lit which makes a big difference in the appearance of any reception venue. Synergetic Sounds and Lighting did an amazing job making the room look very festive. I can’t recommend having professional lighting enough. Not only does it make the room look amazing but it makes the photos and video look even better!

The other thing Erin did right was to hire a wedding planner. Erin Proud of Proud to Plan did a great job organizing all the vendors and keeping things on schedule. As the bride will I’m sure attest, having a planner takes a lot of the stress out of the wedding day.

DJ for the evening was Jon Gill and Photographer Joe Capasso captured some pretty awesome pictures of the happy couple.

Jackie & Andy’s Vow Renwal

What another great October day! As I was driving up to The Loft at Sweet Water Country Club for Jackie and Andy’s vow renewal I traveled along route 29 which took me through Collegeville, Schwenksville and along the Perkiomen Creek. The fall foliage was breathtaking and I ended up pulling over to take a few pictures of the river with the changing leaves.

The golf course was equally beautiful with fall colors in the distance making for a great day. Jackie and Andy married last August but Andy had to return to duty overseas and the didn’t have the opportunity to have a nice formal wedding service and reception. They made up for it today for sure with an emotion filled outdoor service and a fun party after. The Loft at Sweet Water Country Club is a very nice event venue in a very well restored barn with a good sized outdoor area for ceremonies.

We got some great video working with photographer Kristen Littlefield and had a great time at the party with DJ Joey from Sonic Sound Productions

Best of luck to the happy couple!

Briana & Mike – An October Wedding

Last Saturday was a great day to celebrate Mike and Briana’s wedding. A cool breeze reminded us that it was definitely October but it was nice and sunny all day. The day started at the historic Spring House Bed & Breakfast where Briana and her brides maids got ready. Then it was off to Our Lady of Mount Camel in Doylestown for the service.

After the service we made a quick pit-stop in downtown Doylestown to get some video of the couple at the small used book store where Mike proposed. Then it was off to the Talamore Country Club  where we got some great video during the photo session with Kristi and Scott from  Littlewing Photography. We worked with them last fall and it was great working with them again. After the photos it was time to party with music from the Slippery Band. What a fantastic day…congratulations to Mike and Briana!!

Janeen & Steve’s Wedding at Normandy Farms

Last Friday shaped up to be a perfect day to celebrate the marriage of Janeen and Steve at  Normandy Farm in Blue Bell, PA. We had some rain on Thursday that brought a little morning fog into the area but it cleared by late morning.

The ceremony was outdoors right at sunset. Afterwards we captured some video with photographer Eileen Oles of Sweet e~ Photography. After that everyone went into the Silo Ballroom for the reception where the real fun began. DJ and MC for the evening was Marc Hayford. After all the traditional dances were out of the way the real party began…and what a party it was!!  Between Janeen’s version of the Whitney Houston song “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and some really interesting dancing to Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance”  the night was a complete success.

Our congratulations to Janeen & Steve…have a great honeymoon!

Wedding and a Tailgate

This past Saturday was a busy day for us. Our first shoot was  in front of Lincoln Financial Field before a Temple University football game. As Temple grads, it’s always fun to do something related to our alma mater.  We were hired to shoot a concert  by the band  Teardrop Conception  before the game during the tailgate.

After the concert we made our way to the Northampton Valley Country Club in Richboro, PA for the wedding of Amy and Daniel.

They were a very nice couple and we had a great afternoon working with them.  We had to dodge a few golf balls during the photo session but photographer Jack Kapp from the Pros made the most of the situation and we got some very good video. After the ceremony we were treated to the sounds of the Element K band. The contrast between the classic rock of the morning and the modern pop of the evening made very good book ends for our long but fun and interesting Saturday.

With the long day behind us we met some really cool people including two different bands. We also extend our congratulations to the happy couple Amy and Daniel and wish them the best of luck!!

Eden & Chris : A Wedding Celebration in Wilmington, DE

After an exciting trip down to Orlando for the Wedding and Event Videography Expo there’s no better way to end August than working with a great happy couple as they celebrate their special day.

A quick story about the these guys. They have been together a few years, but the interesting part at least for me was how they met. Eden and Chris met online. Now I know what you’re thinking…no big deal everyone meets on online dating sites these days.  The big difference is these two didn’t meet on a dating site, they met playing an online videogame! For a techie geek like myself I have to smile a very deep understanding smile. Nothing brings two people  together better than battling the forces of evil in a virtual world. I’m being serious now. You really can tell a lot about people when you game with them online.  So next time you’re off playing World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy be nice to that fellow player, they could turn out to be your future husband or wife!

Eden & Chris celebrated their marriage at St Ann’s Church in Wilmington, DE. After the ceremony Steven Bogart with Blink of an Eye Photography ran the bridal party through a nice creative photo session at Rockford Park. When I say he ran the bridal party through the Photo Session, I mean he actually did make them run for a little bit. Looked very cool on video! Steve was a pleasure to work with and best of all we worked as a team throughout the day which always makes things soooo much easier.

After the photo session and a brief limo traffic jam, we all arrived at The Waterfall Banquet and Conference Center for the reception. I shot at Waterfall before so that made things a lot smoother because I knew what to expect. The MC and DJ for the evening was Bill Scheivert. Bill was also a pleasure to work with keeping me and Steve informed about the schedule throughout the evening. Plus, he was an awesome DJ making sure to pick the right mix of songs to keep this crowd on their feet all night long.

Our congrats to Eden & Chris…hope you are enjoying your honeymoon guys!!

Congrats to Tao & Tony!

Great weather greeted us this past Saturday for Tao & Tony’s big day. Thankfully it was not as hot as it has been 🙂 Our day started at the couples home to get the guys and then followed to the venue to get the girls. We worked with the couple earlier in the summer to shoot their love story. It was such a good time we’ve been waiting for the big day ever since!

The ceremony and reception were held at Celebrations in Bensalem. The couple wrote their own vows and it really showed how much they care for one another. After the ceremony the guests danced the afternoon away with sounds from DJ Nicky Butters. Photography services were provided by John Corosanite of Precious Moments Photography. Look for video from the big day sometime this fall.

Our congratulations to the happy couple, have a great honeymoon!

Belated congrats to our July 4th couple!

Normally we congratulate our happy couples pretty quickly after the big day but its been a while since I’ve had time to sit down and kick out a blog entry. Between editing and meeting with happy new clients this has been a busy month.

Our other big news this month We’ve  been nominated for a second year for the Best Videographer in the Philly Hot List Competition. Vote for us by following this link…

So back to the story at hand…despite the 97 degree heat on the 4th, Mel & Mike’s wedding went off without a hitch. Everyone had a great time and we extend our congratulations to the happy couple!

The Pen Ryn Mansion offered a great backdrop for the event with views of the Delaware River. Photography was done by Dave di Rentis Photography  who we worked with before. The crowd danced all night to the sounds of CTO Band 5th Avenue. Look for video from the event soon!

Hope you had a good Memorial Day Weekend!

We had a busy holiday weekend with two happy wedding celebrations. On Friday family and friends gathered to celebrate Kiersten and Andrew’s  marriage at St. Katherine of Siena in Wayne PA.

Following the ceremony was a grand reception at the Overbrook Golf Club. This was probably one of the most happening parties I’ve been too in a while, the Soho Band did a great job keeping the crowd on their feet late into the night.  Between the broad talent of the vocalists and the dance off’s the group did an amazing job. Photographer for the day was Doug  Burns from Candid Moments.

The next day started bright and early for some preparation shooting for happy couple Rebecca and Henry.  The couple celebrated their marriage at West Chester Friends Meeting with a packed crowd of family and friends.

Following the ceremony we had a photo session at the Westtown School with photographer Tony Baiada of Baiada Photography. We got some great video there before heading over to the Gold Ballroom at Mendenhall for the reception. Music was provided by Pat from Schaffer Sound who kept the crowd on their feet all night.

Congrats to both couples…enjoy the honeymoon!!
