We dress in business casual attire, wearing black polo or button-down shirts with black slacks to blend in seamlessly with your event. For safety and mobility, we do not wear ties or jackets, ensuring we can move efficiently while capturing every important moment.

What about the sound, I’ve watched some wedding and event videos and the audio was so low you could hardly hear the people talking. Do your videographers just use the camera microphone?

Great sound is just as important as great visuals, and we take audio quality seriously. We do not rely on camera microphones—instead, we use Sennheiser wireless microphones and small pocket recorders with microphones to capture clear, high-quality sound. Additionally, we use small portable recorders to capture ambient audio for a fuller experience.

For ceremonies, we typically place a wireless clip-on microphone on the groom and officiant to ensure vows and key moments are crystal clear. At receptions, we use the same microphones to capture the best man’s and maid of honors speech along with getting a direct audio feed from the DJ or band for MC announcements and music. Our goal is to deliver professional-grade audio that allows you to relive every word and emotion of your wedding day.

How long before I get my edited video?

Editing your wedding video is a detailed and time-intensive process. We take the time needed to ensure the final product is as polished and meaningful as possible.

  • Social Media Recaps are delivered within 2 weeks of your wedding for all packages.
  • Full Documentary Films, Highlights and Short Films are delivered within 8-12 weeks.

Throughout the editing process, we stay in constant communication with our clients, keeping you informed on our progress so you always know what to expect.

Where will my video be shared, I’m concerned about my privacy?

Your social recap and highlight films will be shared on our blog and Facebook page to make it easy for you to share with your family and friends.

However, we understand that privacy is important to some clients. If you prefer not to have your video shared publicly, we offer privacy options for a nominal fee, ensuring that your video will only be viewed by our editing staff and not shared outside of that.

Is your company insured?

Yes, Valley Creek Productions is fully insured.

We carry liability insurance through CNA Insurance, workman’s comp, and drone liability insurance through Hartford.

If your event venue requires vendors to provide proof of insurance, please let us know, and we will be happy to provide the necessary documentation.

What is required to book the date and lock in my videographer?

Booking your date with us is easy!

To secure your videographer and lock in your date, simply sign our contract and provide a non-refundable retainer of 1/3 of the total balance. Once we receive your signed contract and retainer, your date is officially reserved.

Within a few days, we’ll send you copies of all the necessary paperwork via email. About a month before your wedding, we’ll reach out to schedule a meeting to review all the day-of details, ensuring everything runs smoothly and according to your vision.
